Palatia Spiele

About

PALATIA SPIELE is a one-person German publisher run by Klaus Geis, a game and experiential pedagogue from Mutterstadt in the Rhineland-Palatinate Palatinate region. Geis founded the label in 2012 after a well-received Spieleentwicklerseminar debut for his tricking card game "ebbes", which a traditional publisher had turned down. The catalog is small and entirely card games with a strong Palatinate dialect and regional-cuisine theme: ebbes (2013), Dubbe (2018) and Uffbasse (2024, a cooking game about Palatinate dishes, sold through the site's own Jimdo shop).
