TAC Verlag GmbH is a German publisher built around a single game, TAC, a team strategy and tactics game that the company describes as its "neuer Klassiker". TAC descends from the Indian game Chaupar and combines the three classical game elements of board, cards and marbles: a wooden board, 104 cards that replace dice rolls, and four-by-four hand-turned glass marbles, with players cooperating in teams of two to four from age eight in 45 to 60 minute games.
