ORT Software is the trading name of UK sole trader Owen Ross Thomas, a long-running independent developer of downloadable PC, Windows and Android games. The company has published computer games since 1994, beginning with the DOS-era asteroid shooter AstroFire and continuing through TerraFire (1997) and Astrogeddon (2005). Its current focus is CrossCraze, a single-player crossword-style word puzzle sold as free and PRO editions on Google Play and Steam. All payments are handled through third-party platforms rather than by the company directly.
