About

Founded in 1973, the Pike and Shot Society is an international, non-profit making, volunteer-run organization promoting interest in warfare of the Early Modern Period (c. 1400-1721). Its main output is Arquebusier, an A5 journal published six times a year, together with specialist books, monographs and booklets on the period, sold through the Society's own online store at member prices.
