Jackdaw Games

About

Jackdaw Games is a one-person indie studio founded in October 2023 by Will Cook, developing modern hobby board games on a part-time basis alongside a career in B2B software sales. Three games are in development, the most advanced being Alliance of Wizards: Infernal Portal, a mostly cooperative fantasy deck builder with tactical combat for 1-6 players that was being playtested at UK Games Expo 2025 at the NEC Birmingham. The studio states it uses AI-generated artwork only for prototypes and will use human artists for final production.
