About
Mazaza Games is a two-person independent board game studio run by Matt and Zara, now based in Scotland, that designs and self-publishes sustainably produced games. Their flagship title Kavango was conceived while they were working on conservation in Botswana and places players in southern Africa's Kavango region as they support rewilding; it has shipped with several expansions (Lodges, Climate Mini, Let's Go Kavango) plus deluxe editions and booster packs. At least 50% of their profits go to conservation charities, and Kavango won the Green Games Guide Award for Sustainable Product Design 2026…
