About
One-person tabletop RPG publisher run by Martin Ralya, who founded it in Seattle, Washington on July 7, 2022. It exists to publish gazetteers and regional guides for his own fantasy campaign setting, Godsbarrow, the first volume of which is The Unlucky Isles, sold as PDF and print through DriveThruRPG. Ralya previously founded and ran Engine Publishing from 2009 to 2019 and describes Halfbeard Press as a deliberately smaller, quieter venture built around the DIY ethos of the hobby.
