New Yetem S.A. is an Argentine company based in Buenos Aires that creates, produces and distributes board games, and has been on the market for over 40 years. It was founded in 1976 by David Jiterman, an economics student who owned a game shop in the Palermo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires and patented T.E.G. (Plan Tactico y Estrategico de la Guerra), launched commercially in 1978 as the first adult strategy game in Argentina; the company later renamed itself New Yetem in 1995.
