The Center for Learning through Games and Simulations (CLGS) is a faculty-led academic center in Central Michigan University's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences that promotes the use of games, simulations and play in teaching. It runs the interdisciplinary Game Design Thinking minor and supports course inclusion requests from CMU faculty. Its pedagogical games are published with Central Michigan University Press through the Scholarship and Lore: Games for Learning series, covering topics such as the hydrologic cycle, the Cuban Missile Crisis and vampires in history.
