About
Athenium Games LLC is a tabletop game publisher founded in 2019 by Dan Besemann, a chemistry Ph.D. who taught for over 20 years at Hamline University and turned his integrated lab curricula into game-based learning. The catalog is science-themed educational card and dice games aimed at both classrooms and family game night, including the Insight series (Insight: The Elements), the molecule-building game Isomer: Chemical Connections, and Chemistry Roll, which rolls custom dice against Compound cards. Difficulty is scaled with double-sided Insight cards to match player knowledge.
