Frown Clowns is a two-person game design and publishing team based in Downey, California that came into being in 2021 and self-publishes boutique tabletop games through its own web store. Their first game, Joystick Heroes, was crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 2022; 5 Wards followed in 2023 without crowdfunding, and their third game, Hair Band, successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2026.
