JDB Games was established in 1999 by John D. Barnhart in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as an imprint for games he invented himself. Its best-known designs are Time Vectors, first devised in 1969 as an algebra project called Four-Dimensional four-in-a-row, and the GRYB Game System, alongside Crystal Draughts, Tholian Go, Mind Vectors, PentaCosmos, Brain Hanky and EZ Beesy.
