French children's toy and game brand founded in Paris in 1954 by Veronique Michel-Dales, who created 'les jeux du Djeco' - dominoes for learning letters, numbers and syllables, then illustrated games such as Le Loto des 4 jeudis, Bondo, Telecolor and L'Auto-rallye - and who won four Toys Oscars in the 1960s. Her son Frederic revived the dormant company in 1989 after importing unusual toys and games found on his travels, and from 1993 began creating original collections of his own.
