About
Tor Books is the flagship imprint of Tor Publishing Group, founded in 1980 by Tom Doherty and now part of Macmillan Publishers. It publishes science fiction, fantasy and other genre fiction (mystery, thriller, horror, romance) alongside sister imprints Nightfire, Bramble, Forge Books, Wildthorn, Tordotcom and Tor Teen/Starscape. The current catalogue on the group site is books only, with no tabletop or board game line, though the company did publish the 1988 movie tie-in board game The Willow Game.
