Hawgleg Publishing is a hobby-run publisher owned and operated by Mike Mitchell, Mike Murphy and Paul Mauer, whose first and flagship product is Gutshot, a 178-page core rule book for fast-paced one-on-one and small-scale miniatures combat set in the American Wild West using 25mm figures. Gutshot was developed from 1999 and officially released at OwlCon XXIV in Houston, Texas on 4 February 2005, and the company has since published the Gutshot Extra Ammo supplement along with downloadable character sheets, horse and vehicle records and adventures.
