Tactrics is a two-person Dutch game design studio, run by John and Hans, whose backgrounds are in architecture and project development rather than games. Its catalog is small and entirely abstract: Vortex, a tactical router-placement game played with towers, routers and controllers on a dynamic board, and the Stackers line, in which players take turns placing as many pieces as possible onto the board or onto the growing pile, with Trio, Prime and Columns variants differing in the components supplied.
