Familiar Games is a small board game company founded in 2017 by designer Joseph Butler and Marlene Koncewicz, built around their single franchise Mageling. Mageling is a dice placement, engine-building adventure game for 1-4 players that can be played competitively or cooperatively, set in the world of the Evertree and built around custom dice, spells, relics and a campaign structure. Its catalog also includes the Rise of the Ancient Ones expansion and the Apotheosis expansion, sold directly through a Weebly/Square online store.
