About
Simon & Schuster is an American general-interest publisher founded in April 1924 by Richard L. Simon and M. Lincoln Schuster, whose first release was The Crossword Puzzle Book packaged with a pencil. It has grown into a large publishing house with many imprints and divisions, including a trade imprint, a children's publishing group, an audio division and the Pimsleur language programme, and publishes more than 2,000 titles a year. The current company-authored material on its sites describes a book and audio list; no board or card game catalogue was found on the pages that could be read.
