Northgame

About

Northgame (ノスゲム) is a Japanese doujin circle producing handmade wooden board games, designed in-house and decorated with pyrography (ウッドバーニング). Their central designer is Tunogaeru, a professional video game graphic designer, and the circle is represented by craft artist Kita Yasuyo, who handles the wood burning and is a board member of the Japan Wood Burning Association. Titles are released through the Game Market event in autumn, generally as small wooden editions, with playtime in the 10-60 minute range and a strong family/cooperative orientation.
