About
AV Studio Games is the one-man studio of French board game designer Alban Viard, based in Chorey-les-Beaune, which develops and self-publishes his own designs through its own web shop. Viard is a mathematics teacher by day and got his start designing Age of Steam expansions before creating the CliniC series (Clinic, Clinic Deluxe and its many small expansions), Tramways, Small City and the Pulp range. Its best-known franchises are the heavy eurogames Tramways and Small City, the word-deduction CliniC line, and the abstract card microgame Nano9games.
