About
Gamia Games is a small independent board game studio in Reykjavik, Iceland, run by designer Svavar Bjorgvinsson together with Monika, having started in May 2018 with the first title, Mythical Island, published in October 2019. Its core is the Nordic Heritage collection - Vedur (weather prophecy), Runir (rune carving) and Sagnir, the renamed second edition of Mythical Island - plus Eldur, a cooperative humans-versus-volcano game, all drawn from Icelandic and Scandinavian history and culture.
