About
Obscure Reference Games is a small independent board game publisher founded in early 2015 by a group of friends, presenting itself as a team with mock-officer titles (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO). Its only released products are the card game Overlords of Infamy (pre-ordered 2016) and the expansion Overlords of Infamy: Misery Loves Company, announced on Kickstarter in January 2019. The About page stresses a mix of nostalgic traditional game play and modern mechanics, and the founders describe a lifetime of gaming from Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers through the RPG era.
