About
La Salamandre, legally Les Éditions de la Salamandre, is a French publishing house founded in 1983 by Julien Perrot, who started it as an eleven-year-old with a nature magazine. Its core output is print media and books: the bimonthly Revue Salamandre and the children's titles Salamandre Junior and Petite Salamandre, plus nature guidebooks, albums and DVDs. Alongside this it sells a small line of five nature-themed family board games through its own boutique (Happy Bee, Just Wild, Fly Home!, Fish'n'Flip, Le bois des Couadsous), but games are incidental to a magazine-and-book business.
