Naipes Heraclio Fournier, S.A. describes itself on its own site as a playing card manufacturing company founded in 1870 by Heraclio Fournier Gonzalez in Vitoria, whose first Spanish-pattern deck appeared in 1877 and which launched twelve-colour lithographic decks in 1887. In the 1990s it merged with USPC and now holds the Bicycle, Fournier, Kem, Bee and Aviator brands, claiming more than 35% of the global playing card market; it runs its own plant at Legutiano (Alava) and states it still makes its decks with master craftsmen and printing techniques.
