Water Bear Games is a tabletop game company based in Omaha, Nebraska, run by cousins Marcus Ross and Cara Heacock. It began as a project at Omaha's Startup Weekend in September 2012 and is best known for Discount Salmon, which won the first season of Cards Against Humanity's Tabletop Deathmatch in 2013 and was funded and graphically produced by Cards Against Humanity. Their output leans on quick, social, print-and-play designs - trick-taking, card drafting and real-time dice games - later sold through a Shopify storefront, with BEEEEES! released in 2017 in partnership with Action Phase Games.
