About
Isle of Empires Games is the one-man desktop-publishing imprint of British designer Godfrey Bailey, who describes himself as a hobbyist publisher pushing the limits of DTP wargames with boxed, mounted and pre-cut components. His own titles are complete solitaire historical wargames covering the First Anglo-Boer War (Hill of Doves) and the Battle of Colenso (Redvers' Reverse), both sold through Legion Wargames. The rest of the site is a rules-and-history companion for Hill of Doves plus a blog of narrative game write-ups covering other people's games such as BattleTech, White Tribe, B-17 Queen …
