arsEdition GmbH is a Munich publishing house founded in 1896 by Josef Müller as "Ars Sacra", originally issuing religious prints and theological writing before becoming a children's and picture-book publisher; it was renamed arsEdition in 1979 and has belonged to the Bonnier Media Group since 2000.
