About
Independent site founded on April Fools' Day 2012 to share homebrew tabletop role-playing games, later expanding into fiction, poetry, articles, podcasts and multimedia. The site describes itself as publishing 'terrible games about terrible people in terrible situations' — RPGs about vice, inhumanity and suffering — with an explicitly non-preachy, non-didactic design philosophy. Games are released free on the site and via itch.io; a small merchandise shop sells The Misery Index.
