Strange Loop Games is an independent video game studio building the persistent online world game ECO, a server-based civilization and ecology simulation released on PC. The site describes a vision of a connected network of player-governed 'gaming worlds', with ECO as its first live world and another title listed as unannounced. Development news is posted as numbered performance updates (9.6, 9.7, and a roadmap to Update 10) with community playtests. Distribution is via Steam and the studio's own play.eco site; no board games are offered.
