About
Vermicelle was a French publisher of wooden children's and family board games, founded in 2009 by William Aubert and based in Fontenay near Epinal in the Vosges, Lorraine. Its catalogue was small and focused on sturdy wooden games using natural materials, built around classic children's tales, with titles such as Nénufable, Tactic Jack, Tipoucet and Dolmen. The company's own site states it published games only until 2017, after which Aubert continued designing games independently as an author; the site now functions as an archive of the catalogue and rules.
