Caravel Games is an independent game studio run by Michael Rimer, which grew out of the open-source DROD (Deadly Rooms of Death) community; it first released an open-source remake of the Webfoot Technologies puzzle game in 2002 and has published the DROD series since, including King Dugan's Dungeon, Journey to Rooted Hold, The City Beneath, The Second Sky, Gunthro and the Epic Blunder and the RPG offshoot DROD RPG.
