Qvinta Essentia is a Japanese doujin circle whose 'monozukuri-bu' (production department) is a seven-person sub-circle made up of sculptors, makers of non-powered ('analog') games and supporters; the circle's own profile post says its main creative activity as a literary circle ended about ten years before 2009. Its best-known product is the non-powered card game Cat & Chocolate, designed by Ryo Kawakami with artwork by yukagaran and Mutsuki Munku, which took the grand prize at the Japan Board Game Award 2010.
