Briarpatch is a children's games and puzzles brand founded in 1992 by John Donofrio and Martine Redman, originally built on literary-themed puzzles and later on licensed preschool properties. University Games acquired the brand in 2014, and it now operates as one of University Games' house brands alongside BePuzzled, Great Explorations, Front Porch Classics and Hoberman Spheres.
