Founded in 1995 in Venice by legendary game designer Alex Randolph alongside Leo Colovini and Dario De Toffoli, Venice Connection was an Italian board game publisher celebrated for clever abstract strategy, logic, and family games. The company received the Premio Gioco dell'Anno in 1999 and produced acclaimed titles such as The Venice Connection, Cartagena, and Carolus Magnus before its catalog merged with studiogiochi and Giochi Uniti.
