About

distractionware is the site of Terry Cavanagh, an independent game developer from Monaghan, Ireland who has worked full time as an indie since 2007. His three commercial games are VVVVVV, Super Hexagon and Dicey Dungeons, and he has also released many freeware games including At a Distance, Don't Look Back, Mr. Platformer, C.H.A.I.N.G.E.D. and Tiny Heist. The site doubles as a development blog with design write-ups, the Dicey Dungeons Reunion character design series, and an archive of his freeware tools and minigames.
