About
D.N.A.Softwares is a Japanese doujin (fan-made software) circle that has been producing action games since 1996, starting with FM-TOWNS titles and moving to Windows from 2000 onward. It now works as a small team of about three people and outsources illustration and music to external artists per project. Best known for the Touhou Project fan mahjong series Touhou Gensou Mahjong, released for Nintendo Switch in January 2020 with a packaged edition dated 30 October 2025, and for the Walpurgis Quintet action series. Its circle mail-order shop closed on 1 October 2023.
