About
Sonic Team is the Sega development team behind the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Its own official channel is Sonic Channel, a Japanese-language SEGA portal site opened in 2005 that carries Sonic news, character information, a series history, staff columns written by Sonic Team directors and designers, and downloads. The site also covers Sonic films, events and merchandise, and hosts a monthly fan art, screenshot and comedy-contest gallery.
