About
Imagine Role Playing publishes the Imagine Role Playing System, a high-fantasy tabletop RPG first drafted on a typewriter in 1984 and in continuous playtest since 1985. The core line is a limited-edition Player's Guide and Master's Manual, issued in 1997, followed by standalone bestiary and setting expansions such as Aspects of the Wild, Epitaph of the Fallen, Legends of the Unknown and Mysteries of the Planes. The system is distinctive for its bullseye hit chart, its expanded attribute list and its handling of alignment as a contract between player and group rather than a moral axis.
