Quantic Dream is a video game studio founded by David Cage on 2 May 1997 in a small apartment in the 15th district of Paris, and now operates from premises in Paris and Montreal with over 500 employees. Its first release, Omikron: The Nomad Soul, arrived in 1999 and pioneered motion capture in games, and the studio later formalised its 'interactive drama' approach with Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human.
