About

Strategemata is a Polish wargame publisher run by Anna Niechwiej, trading online from an address in Wroclaw. Its catalog is almost entirely two-player hex-and-counter historical scenarios from the Napoleonic wars, the American Civil War, the Crimean War and the two World Wars, frequently reusing proven rules systems across connected titles (for example the Festung series, and the Waterloocampaign system reused from How the Union was Saved). Several titles are offered as free print-and-play downloads, such as Niemenczyn 1794. Many of the English-language titles are designed by Stephen Pole.
